Here are a couple of images I stumbled on at a foreign website. Could this be what the Revolution’s Mario game will look like? Is that Sonic in the background? Sure looks awesome. Update: that’s Yoshi not Sonic, thanks Alpha!

Probably a fake... and can't anybody make something stereoscopic 3D with a little know how. So what's the point of pointing it out???

Never the less, looks pretty on the surface and that is all I need to pursue a nice humping with it. (Or the opposite sex.)

they are in stereoscopic 3D.....confirmed on multiple threads by owners of stereoscopic 3d glasses

Okay guys, just in case these images aren't fake, I'm going to try and debug a bunch of stuff you have beef with in these pictures.

In the first image, the picture of Mario that appears to have the same texture as the bulding does not, he does indeed have his own texture, but the reason it looks like the texture of the building is because of the light shining through the tree behind/above him and creating an odd shadow (you can see this shadow on the bulding in front of him as well, in the exact same pattern). That disproves another claim. In fact, the lighting on Mario is exactly as it should be.

In the second picture, the one with Mario motion-blurred, you can obviously tell that he is rapidly spinning. This is one of the moves in Mario's arsenal, so that also disproves another claim against the images.

All in all, these images have a high chance of being fake, considering they are from some random european Nintendo website we've never heard of, but then again, big things come in weird, unknown packages. Like bombs.

Yeah those pics look fake. What's with the aura around mario in the second pic anyway? It seems to me they did that to make it blend in cuz they noticed it looked fake to begin with.

Guys, we know the images can be fake, and probably are. That's why it is filed under rumors & speculation.

Chaos001, I think you're right, that looks exactly like the Mario from Mario Tennis.

The only thing is, I can't find any similar images that someone may have used to include Mario stuff into them. Maybe they made them from scratch?

Either way, it’s just speculation. I don’t mind looking at mock-up consoles and controllers, so why not game images? The first one does have a slight resemblance to the Mario world in the ON video though, don't you think?

Meh, those pics look totally fake. Someone made them in Photoshop and did a very messy job. Look at the first image, Mario has the same texture as the buildings. And as Chaos001 said, Mario looks motion-blurred. Someone's playing a joke for attention, lol; these images are fake.

It might just be me but that image of mario in the picture with the rooftops and yoshi looks almost like a picture of Mario from Mario Tennis without the racket but motion-blurred.

480p is the resolution of the image (pretty damn low, but at least it's not 480i) The Revolution will reportedly not support HDTV resolutions (1080i/p and 720p), so 480p is the best we can probably hope for =o/
